Gateacre Chapel becomes Accessible

Gateacre Chapel celebrate improved access for people using wheelchairs, mobility scooters , prams and pushchairs.

It has been a long standing concern of Gateacre Chapel figuring out how to improve access for people who use mobility aids, as being Grade II listed there have been restrictions as to what is permissible to achieve. The most difficult area of access was at our lychgate steps.

However, Les Loxton our buildings committee officer has managed to source a lightweight easy to fit ramp, which can be quickly laid out for use at request. If you’d like to come and visit our chapel, but require to use the ramp, just email your request through to us at: gateacrechapel@outlook.com and we will get all set up and ready to welcome you!
