Services

Our services can be wide ranging in belief, practice and feel, but we seek to include people from all walks of life and experiences.

We often build upon a Christian-style service with hymns, readings, prayers, and a reflection, but we draw from many traditions, seeking inspiration from different religions and philosophies. We mark the start of worship with the lighting of a chalice candle and during the service we have the lighting of candles for joy and concern; where people are invited to share an event of the past week that has been joyful or challenging.

There are no formal dress requirements to attend our services. Some congregation members wear a shirt and tie, others wear t-shirts, jeans or dresses. Come dressed however you feel most comfortable. There are no barriers to worship with us.

After the service you are welcome to join us for refreshments and to chat with members of the congregation.
